To get the actual documents, you contact the clerk or visit in person. Certified copies carry the clerk's seal and are accepted by other courts and institutions. Copy Fees for Hancock County Civil Court Records

Copy fees are set by 705 ILCS 105/27.1b. The first page is $2.00. Pages two through twenty cost $0.50 each. Pages after twenty are $0.25 each. A record search costs $6.00 per year searched. Certified copies are priced higher. Call the clerk to confirm the certified copy fee before visiting Carthage.
